HELPING WOMEN OVERCOME BARRIERS

Many women experience systemic and personal barriers that block their access to opportunities. We’re here to change that.

Why We Do What We Do

System-impacted women are less likely to receive equal access to housing, education, employment, healthcare, and financial opportunities. These barriers make advancement for this community more challenging and often unattainable without proper support and advocacy for their needs.

What We Believe

EVERY WOMAN DESERVES EQUAL ACCESS TO OPPORTUNITIES, REGARDLESS OF LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES

I feel accomplished… Like I’m actually doing something because before I felt like my life was on hold because of like, everything that I’ve been through, but now that, since I met [case manager] she’s helped me out a lot like she’s really helped me out.

This program can me so much support to be honest. I can honestly say that I grew because when I met my case manager and when I learned about your [this] program, I was clean [from substances] like for three days after 15 years and this is not the first time I ever try to be clean. This program made me responsible and productive and taught me how to grow and learn about myself and now I’m able to have a job and be responsible.

Together we can dismantle the systemic and personal barriers that block women’s access to opportunities.
